More Thanksgiving Fun

Amelia really loved the sparkling grape juice... Thus the cousin picture with no shirt on. We were soaking it in hopes of getting rid of the stain! :)

Hanging Out

Hard to tell... But this is me hanging upside down. Amelia kept coming overland grabbing my face to kiss me. Is was. Hilarious!

Back Friday Shopping

Such a bi girl carrying her own bag!

She's touching me!!

I have a feeling this will be funny to remind them of when they are teenagers :) the funny part is that he started this photo opp smiling!

I am grateful for this blog and the chance we have to capture so post so many great memories of our babies! I hope some day they can enjoy it as much as we do!

1st Thanksgiving!

This month I have posted so many things about my beautiful children that I am grateful for. But I have so many things in my life to be grateful for! I am truly blessed. I am grateful to be married to my best friend. Brent is such an incredible man, father, husband, son, grandson, brother, uncle, etc... He is always thinking of and doing things for others. He makes sure I know everyday that I am the most important thing in his life. I fall in love with him over and over again as I watch him with Amelia and Lincoln. I am so grateful for wonderful parents, siblings, and in-laws. Not only do they show us their love, but they are all so great to Amelia and Lincoln, and I love to see how excited they get to see family. I am grateful for a warm home, clothes on our backs, and food to eat. All the things we take for granted every day. I am grateful for our health. I am grateful that Brent has a good job, and that I am able to work from home a little so that I can still be with my kids. I am grateful for the freedoms we have living in this country. I am thankful for my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the happiness it brings me. I am grateful for all the wonderful things in my life, the list could go on and on! Happy Thanksgiving!! (Yes I am writing this at 3am before I climb in bed)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Watching Movies

I am so grateful for good natured kids! My back has been killing me this week, and last night they were so cute to watch movies and lay on the floor with me! They were both happy as long as I was next to them holding their hands!

Nap Time

I am grateful for nap time! Naps are few and far between for Amelia these days, but when it does happen, I feel so much more productive in that time! That way, I feel like I can be more fun when they are awake! If we are home, Lincoln will normally take a 3+ hour nap early in the day. When she doesn't nap too, I am grateful for that time that I can give her some special attention without being distracted and splitting up my time evenly!

"Watch the Show"

Her Little People were really enjoying Sleeping Beauty today. ;)

Yummy Fingers

Batons!

Amelia was so sweet to share one of her batons with Lincoln today.

I am grateful for that lazy boy. Brent got it for me right after Amelia was born, and I have so many great memories with my babies in that chair. I have spent countless hours feeding, rocking, snuggling, and reading to them in it. Some of my favorite moments are when I have both of them snuggled up in it with me together!

So Big!

As I am sitting in my lazy boy rocking my big boy, it is overwhelming to me how big he is getting so fast!

So I joined a gym again (woo hoo!) and have been going to classes early on the morning (5:30) so that it doesn't interfere with my day with the kids. It makes me so happy to exercise and it feels so good to get my body back into shape again... But I am tired. Haha. That is an early morning. So as I am laying here rocking Lincoln who just fell asleep, and listening to the rumble of Brent and Amelia asleep on our bed (she fell asleep right after she closed her eyes for prayer!), I am grateful for these memories. When Amelia doesn't go to sleep until 11:30, and I have been in her room for 2 hours trying to get her to sleep, it makes me so tired, and a little irritable... And then I remind myself to think about what I am doing. I am laying on the floor with my almost 2 year old, because more than sleep, she wants to cuddle with her mommy on the floor. And it makes me happy. Deliriously happy haha. I am grateful for every memory I get to make with my kids every day. Even when I am frustrated, 2 seconds later I am smiling an laughing because Amelia's apology is the most genuine and adorable thing I have ever seen. Or tonight when we were reading scriptures and she bonks me on the head as she is trying to get off my lap. I was upset because she hurt me, but we were laughing 20 seconds later when we realized all she wanted to do was go hide in the closet for a minute so she could poop . (Saving this post for her boyfriends!) These memories we are making... The good, bad, dirty, funny, exhausting, adorable memories... I wouldn't trade any of them for anything! I am very blessed!

1st Thanksgiving Babies

Dressing Herself

She did a great job putting her dress on herself for church today! :)

I am just so thankful for the joy Amelia and Lincoln bring into my life everyday. I feel so blessed to have been trusted with such incredible spirits. 5 years ago I would never have imagined my life the way it is today. The happiness that Brent, Amelia, and Lincoln bring into my life is overwhelming and I am just so grateful to be with them forever!

Burried in Groceries!

Saturdays

I am so grateful my kids get to have Saturdays with Daddy home! It has always been 'our day' ever since we were dating, and we both really try to keep it that way as much as we can. It is fun to watch the memories as they are created, sleeping in together (in our bed), making pancakes, snuggling watching a movie or football, running errands, etc... I have lots of fun memories from growing up of spending Saturdays as a family doing all sorts of fun things, and I am grateful we can give our kids that same opportunity!

Good Times

Twinner Kids

I am thankful that Amelia and Lincoln have 2 sets of wonderful grandparents who love them so much. It is so fun to see how Lincoln grins and coos when he sees them, and Amelia loves nothing more than seeing her grandparents. She knows that Grandpa and Grampy will let her break the rules and play. She also is obsessed with her Granny and Grandma. She gets jealous if either of them hold any other kids or babies. She wants them to hold her all the time. We are grateful they we live close to both, and that they get to see them so often! We have some very lucky kids to be loved by so many!

My Little Reindeer

I am so grateful for that dimple. It was one of the very first things I noticed when Lincoln was born, and it shows his little personality so much! Seeing that face every day brings me so much joy!

Green Smoothie

She drank her whole cup of the green juice (lots of spinach) at Costco today! I am thankful she likes to drink anything, so that I can find new ways to sneak vegetables into her diet. :) (and Brent's haha)

Lean Back

(Yesterday)

I am grateful for moments like these in the bathroom with my cute kids. While Amelia was making faces for the camera, Lincoln thought it was so funny and kept leaning WAY back in the bumbo so he could smile at me. VERY scary, but cute. I can not take one step away from him in that thing, he makes me nervous!

Silly Faces

(Yesterday)

I am grateful for Amelia's laugh. It brings me so much happiness and is so contagious!

Play Time

I am grateful for Amelia's cute imagination. She loves to play make believe these days and rotates to a new toy(s) every week. This week she has been loving her little people again! She will search the toy boxes for them, and carry them around the house. She likes to line them up on the stairs, table, bed, floor, etc... She will then talk to them (look at the fish in the water) and then individually have them 'walk' to her next place where she wants to line them up. It is hilarious and adorable to watch!

Bouncer

I got distracted last night trying to put Amelia to sleep and fell asleep on her floor so I missed yesterday!

I am grateful that Lincoln loves his bouncer! I don't know how I did without this with Amelia, but I love that it is so light, that I can strap him in and have him near me all the time when we are in the family room or kitchen! He likes to hang out on the table while we eat, and on the counter while I cook or clean. He is so good natured, he loves just to be able to see me and be paid attention to!

Nap Time

I don't know how she can fall asleep with her neck like that!

I am thankful for binkies. Both kids have been binky babies (so they wouldn't suck their fingers), and it is so nice that they have that comfort when they need it. For Amelia, now, it means it is nap time, bed time, or in the car. When she decides she doesn't want a nap, she will get rid if it. :) If Lincoln wakes up during the night, I don't always have to feed him, I can give him his binky again and he will usually fall right back asleep!

Granny and Grampy's House

Playing with the little people!

Sundays

Sorry Brent, I know I told you I wouldn't post this picture.. But I lied. ;)

I am grateful for Sunday mornings. One o'clock church is a hard time with a toddler, but it gives us time in the mornings to relax and spend time together. This morning we snuggled and watched the grinch. I love these moments with my family more than anything!

Baby doll

I meant to post this yesterday!
I am grateful for my beautiful babies! I know I am biased as their mother, but they really are beautiful kids! In this picture, Lincoln doesn't even look real. We are told daily how beautiful Amelia is, and they are absolutely right!

Croutons!

Happy Boy!

I am grateful for snugly kids. Lincoln loves to be held and will snuggle right in and get cozy. I could sit and hold him all day. My favorite is when he falls asleep in my arms. It makes it impossible to want to do anything besides just hold him and watch him sleep! One of Amelia's latest favorite things is to "snuggle downstairs." She loves to have my lay on the love sac with her and snuggle under the covers to watch a movie. She will hold my hand, and turn and look at me with her hands on my cheeks and say "what are you doing mommy?" With a big smile on her face. She wanted Lincoln and I to snuggle with her in her bed last night as she got ready for bed. I am just going to keep telling myself that they will want to snuggle with their momma forever, and that this will never change! :)

Nap Time

Watching mom do 3 lash appts was exhausting today!

Nice and Warm!

Laughing

I can't believe how pleasant he still is on the days he gets his shots!

4 Months

Lincoln had his 4 month check up today! 80th percentile for height and 75th for weight and head circumference. He weighs 15lb 13oz! Such a big boy!! He was a rockstar all day after his shots, but didn't like getting pricked :(

I am so grateful my kids can get great healthcare. It is crazy how we take for granted how blessed we are to have so many things in our lives. I am grateful that I have the opportunity to take them to the doctor at any time if I am worried about anything. With that said, I am also so grateful for how healthy these 2 are! Rarely do either of them get sick, and when they do, they are such troopers!

Park Play Date

Went for a walk in the wagon to the park with some friends today! Amelia had so much fun holding hands and playing with Kiarra, and Lincoln loved riding in the wagon! I thought I got a Picture of him laying in the wagon, but i don't know where it went!

I am thankful for the neighborhood we live in, that my kids have so my kids their age to play with! We have so many great friends and neighbors, and It has been so fun to see Amelia growing and interacting with them! Lincoln has quite a few babies his age too, so it will be so fun as the kids grow.

He likes what he sees!

Lincoln was smiling at himself in the mirror today. It was adorable.
I am thankful for Lincoln's sweet noises. Whether he is talking, cooing, grunting, fussing, crying, laughing, or squealing, the sound of his voice makes me so happy! It is so low and distinct. Even if he cries out, I can't help but smile because it is just the cutest cry! During lashes his swing is facing my chair, and for a good portion of my appts, he will just hang out and talk to me. If I turn and look and smile at him, he will just kick and make the sweetest, happiest little noise!

Nap on Mommy's Bed

I am grateful for this cute girl's social personality. She can win anyone over by being silly, sweet, smart, and outgoing. It is fun for me to watch her as she gets older during my eyelash appts. She loves to chat with my gals and tell them all sorts of things. She already acts so grown up!

"Cheese, Lincoln!"

Minnie Mouse

There was a request to take Minnie Mouse's picture today and I think it is blog worthy! :)

Good Morning Lincoln!

I had to snap a picture this morning when Lincoln woke up and Amelia went in to get him. She was talking to him, and he was just happy as can be to push himself up and stare at her!

I am thankful for happy mornings. I am definitely not a morning person, but both of these sweet kids are so happy first thing in the morning! Now that she is sleeping in her big girl bed, she comes in every morning and is so happy to have me pull her up into bed with me! (I wish I was happier about it haha) And no matter how long it has been since he has eaten, first thing in the morning I get some of his best smiles all day! It is so wonderful to be loved that much ;)

Church Outfit

I am so grateful that as this beautiful girl gets older, she is learning how to do hard things. Nursery has been a struggle for her ever since she got hurt her first week in there. For weeks she would cry and cry and I was really worried she would never do it. For the last 3 weeks she has been such a rockstar and had stayed in nursery for the whole time! Every week they have been telling us how great she is doing! As a mother, I don't want to see my children sad. I hate to see her cry and it eats away at me inside. BUT.. I also want her to know how to do hard things and how to overcome challenges and fears. I know she isn't even 3 yet, but that is a skill I hope she can learn in life! So I am so proud of her for being such a big girl and going into nursery all by herself! (AND today she didn't even cry when we dropped her off!)

Matching

Lincoln's new sweater arrived and I was so excited for my boys to match for church today! So handsome!!!

I am so thankful for the relationship Brent and Lincoln are already establishing. I love to see them snuggle together when Brent comes home from work everyday. He is just so proud of his little man, and loves to take him to scouts or home teaching with him. Lincoln is so blessed to have such an incredible example to look up to. I am grateful that he will learn how to be polite, trustworthy, a gentlemen, respectful, how to honor his priesthood and responsibilities, and how to be an all around good man, son, brother, husband, and father. I love these 2 men in my life more than I can express!

Happy birthday Grandma!

Teething Ring

I am so grateful for those smiles. He smiles with his whole body and is so genuine! You would never know his tooth was coming in with all the grins, coos, and chatting he gives us!

Target Stickers!

The lady gave Amelia 2 stickers so she decided to put them on both of her cheeks. :)

I am so grateful for the relationship Amelia and Brent have. I fall in love with him all over again every time I see them together. They love to play, sing, dance, snuggle, tease, laugh, and read together. She lights up when he comes home from work, and necks first thing in the morning to see if he is home or not. On Thursday when he had to leave at 11, she was telling him to stay home :) and then made sure to tell him she missed him when he got home. I am grateful my kids are blessed with the best dad ever! Go grateful he honors his priesthood so they have that blessing in their home. No dad could love them or worry about them more!

Silly Girls

I am so grateful for the silliness this cute girl brings into my life everyday! She is so fun and loves to tease, laugh, make silly faces, be involved in anything Brent and I are laughing at, and loves to make us laugh! One of her favorite things lately to do to make me laugh is play peek-a-boo with her towel when she gets out of the tub. We play and she just belly laughs! Can't imagine what my life would be like without getting so many laughs in daily!

Tooth!!

Playing make up from yesterday!
This cute boy cut the start of his first tooth yesterday! I can believe he is already going to start getting teeth! I didn't be notice he was teething because he wasn't complaining! I am so grateful for sub a good natured baby. He is so sweet and loves nothing more than just being looked at and talked to. He is almost always perfect for me during lash appts, young women's meetings, and everywhere else!

Mini Me

For any of you who have seen Brent's baby pictures, you may argue whether these pictures are 27 years old. :) looks just like his daddy wearing his shirt from when Brent was a baby!

Magic Touch

Putting an end to a no nap week! (Well except for in the car) Grampy got her to sleep an then she slept in her big girl bed for a 2+ hour nap!! Woo hoo!!!
