Snuggles

We decided to have a little snuggle time while Lincoln went down for a nap.

Night Night!

Lincoln thinks it is so funny to climb into Amelia's bed and steal her lovey and binky. She knows she isn't going to get them unless it is bedtime, so she is a pretty good trooper and will just giggle and tease him back. I am so thankful for my kids playful personalities. One of their favorite things to do is tease each other and mom and dad. They are like little partners in crime most of the time! If Brent or I hit the floor, they are both on top of us as quickly as they can be. They will roll all over us (and each other) while just giggling away. Lincoln gets so excited when he can find one of Amelia's binkies in her bed, and will make sure she can see him with it so he can tease her. Amelia will tell us she needs to go potty while we are driving somewhere, and if we turn around and double check, she will start laughing and say, 'I'm just teasing you guys!'

Happy Birthday Lainey!

Happy Birthday Lainey!

I am so thankful for the relationship my kids have with their cousins. Especially how much Amelia loves Leecy and Lainey. She just thinks they are the most amazing girls, and idolizes everything they do. They are so sweet to her, and love to play with her, even though there is a 5 and 7 ½ year age gap. I am grateful that she has got such cute girls to look up to as she grows up!

Big Boy

This handsome guy insisted on eating his breakfast at the table this morning instead of his high chair. I am so grateful to be able to watch him grow. He is learning something new every day, and he is so proud of it! I miss my baby boy so much, but as he grows up it has been so much fun! He wants to do everything that he sees Mom, Dad, and big sister do. I am not sure I am ready to put the high chair away, but he might have different plans for me!

Thankful

With all the excitement of Halloween, I didn't even realize it was already November! Taking each day of November to reflect on the things I am thankful for with my kids, has become one of my favorite traditions as a mom. We had a bit of a busy day yesterday, so I didn't get any pictures of the kids taken. We took the kids down to Lehi to go to my dear friend, Amber's birthday party. We shopped at the outlets, and then for her birthday went to dinner and then ice cream and cake at her house afterward. I am so thankful for how well my kids can do in adult setting. Amelia just sits next to complete strangers, and will start up a conversation with them. When she is sitting listening to us have a conversation, she chimes in and tries to participate. It is so adorable. Lincoln is such a people person. He is so happy to jump into the arms of friends he has never met. He is so happy to show everyone everything he thinks is awesome and new. Everyone loves the kids when they meet them, and I am just so proud to be their momma.
