Daddy Time

So glad Brent got to come with us to the zoo yesterday! Getting there right at 5 when the gates close is perfect because there is hardly anyone there! Other than zoo lights it was both of their first time to really go to Hogle Zoo and it was a blast!

She had so much fun playing with these horses at the mall. They were a little less fun for her when they were moving, but we got a good laugh!

BIG GIRL!!!

Today was a very big day for Amelia! We bought a little potty to get her used to it for a while before we started trying to potty train her.

Well... She said he first sentence today, which was, "change bum mom" while she lay on the floor and patted her diaper. We were so excited!!

Then... About ten minutes later she wanted me to change her again so we asked her if she wanted to sit on her potty. I put her on the potty and we sang our ABCs. When I got her off, she had peed in the potty! We were so proud of her and made a huge deal of course (there may have been candy involved haha)! We know this is a little soon to expect her to be potty trained, but we will take each small victory we can get for now!

We love our little sleeper! When we say it is bedtime at night, and when we say it is nap time she will lay down for us without a fight or even a sound! We are so lucky that she sleeps so well!
