Field Frip

Amelia's class went to Petsmart for a tour yesterday! The kids were so cute and loved learning and petting some of the animals! They got to see (and pet) some turtles, a Guinea pig, a snake, and they got to take turns feeding the fish! The bottom right picture is Amelia trying to pay Miss Wanda after the tour! She refused, but it was so sweet!

My Lincoln

Every morning this guy wakes up and gets his outfit out for the day, first thing. It is very difficult for me to let him wear what he wants, but lately I am really trying to "let it go," and let him be who he wants to be. I don't let him every day, but I have learned to pick my battles. Today he chose sweatpants that are too small (I keep trying to hide them in the too small pile) which were put on backwards, a sweater, and cowboy boots. And we went to the grocery store. And had a play date. I didn't even turn his pants around. I am pretty proud of my self control!

First Chapter Book!

I am so proud of this smart girl! She loves to learn and read, and reminds me every night that we need to read chapters in our Junie B. Jones chapter book! We finished the first book tonight, and are so excited to read the rest in the series! So excited for our future mother-daughter book club!

Family Dinner

Tonight we had a family dinner with Grandpa Keller and Grammy Ruth. Amelia was so grown up, cutting her own food, mingling, and performing her dance at the end. Lincoln showed off some of his dance moves also with the cute band playing lots of old songs, kept stealing candy from Grandpa Keller's walker, and also enjoyed the drinks and dessert! Winston enjoyed snuggling with Aunt Boo most of the time, and was busy being adorable as ever!

Auto Show!

We went down to the auto expo on Friday night! We go every year, and it has been fun to see how much our experience there has changed over the last 5 years! Luckily it wasn't very busy, and Amelia and Lincoln wanted to try out every single car. It was so funny! They were determined to get in and out on their seatbelt; each one taking a turn driving each vehicle. Such a fun family tradition!

Winston has been sleeping by my side for over 6 months, and once we got the furniture all out back last night, it was time to move him in with Lincoln! He did pretty good, and it was nice not to worry about waking him, but we sure did miss him! Also this is a screen shot from our nest baby monitor, which is pretty neat!
