It has been a while since Amelia had seen fireworks, an it was so fun to watch her learn about them all over again last night. One went off when they were singing the National Anthem and she starting to cry a little. When I told her there would be more like that, as said "no! No!" The first little bit she clung onto her Daddy for dear life (which was adorable), and then realized they weren't scary would repeated "wow!" Over and over again! She thought they were just so pretty. When a tree caught on fire very close to the high school, most of us were distracted watching the flames get bigger and bigger. They shot off the rest of the fireworks and Amelia was probably one of the few people that really got to enjoy the amazing finale while everyone else rushed to the fence to see the fire. She clapped and clapped when they were over! Can't wait to take her to more fireworks this summer!
